for Yemeni nationals to recruit for the Watchman position.

مواطنين يمنيين لشغل وظيفة حارس
Location: Aden Project
Contract duration: Six (6) months, with the possibility of
extension
Contract type: Fixed-Term contract
Reporting to: Logistics Supervisor

Main Purpose:
Carrying out surveillance and guarding activities in MSF
facilities, according to MSF protocols and security rules, in order to ensure
the safety and security of all mission's personnel and premises.
الهدف الرئيسي:
القيام بأنشطة المراقبة والحراسة في مرافق أطباء بلا حدود، وفق
بروتوكولات المنظمة وقواعد الأمن، لضمان سلامة وأمن جميع موظفي ومقار البعثة.
Accountabilities:
- Surveying
the MSF premise's access and guides people to reception within authorized
hours. Contacts administration team for authorizing people access.
- Watching
MSF premises and property's perimeter fence through regular patrols.
Remaining on duty until other watchman comes to do a handover, never
leaving the post unattended.
- Organizing
traffic of vehicles within the premises and directs them in and out.
- Checking
that the doors and windows are locked and lights are off when people leave
premises. Checking that security lights are working properly and informing
line manager of any possible problems.
- Keeping
area within MSF premises clean and tidy (ex. empty dustbins, sweep paths,
etc.) and performs general maintenance activities of the garden (ex. cut
grass, maintain flower beds, prune trees if necessary, etc.).
- Maintaining
watchmen's torch and other lighting tools, returning used batteries and
keeping the necessary supply of spare batteries. Maintaining communication
equipment (radio) in working conditions and providing battery
availability.
- Supervising
diesel/petrol tank levels and providing spare can(s) of fuel. Ensuring the
correct functioning of generator and water pumps (starting, switching off,
record sheet of operating hours and maintenance) as well as the correct
use of extinguishers (being aware of their location.
- Informing
line manager of arrival of any materials before unloading and helping MSF
staff carry heavy items, if necessary.
المسؤوليات:
- مراقبة مداخل مرافق أطباء بلا حدود وتوجيه
الأشخاص إلى الاستقبال خلال ساعات العمل المسموح بها. التواصل مع فريق
الإدارة لمنح تصاريح الدخول.
- مراقبة محيط المرافق والممتلكات من خلال
الدوريات المنتظمة. البقاء في الموقع حتى وصول الحارس الآخر لتسليم المهام،
وعدم مغادرة الموقع دون تغطية.
- تنظيم حركة المركبات داخل المرافق وتوجيهها
للدخول والخروج.
- التأكد من قفل الأبواب والنوافذ وإطفاء
الأنوار عند مغادرة الأشخاص للمرافق، وفحص أن أضواء الأمن تعمل بشكل صحيح
وإبلاغ المشرف المباشر بأي مشاكل محتملة.
- الحفاظ على نظافة المرافق (مثل تفريغ صناديق
القمامة، كنس المسارات، إلخ) وأداء أعمال الصيانة العامة للحديقة (مثل قص
العشب، صيانة أحواض الزهور، تقليم الأشجار عند الحاجة، إلخ).
- الحفاظ على مصابيح الحراس وأدوات الإضاءة
الأخرى، إعادة البطاريات المستخدمة والحفاظ على مخزون كافٍ من البطاريات
الاحتياطية، وصيانة معدات الاتصال (الراديو) وضمان توفر البطاريات.
- متابعة مستويات خزانات الديزل/البنزين
وتوفير عبوات احتياطية من الوقود، والتأكد من تشغيل المولدات ومضخات المياه
بشكل صحيح، واستخدام طفايات الحريق بشكل سليم ومعرفة أماكنها.
- إبلاغ المشرف المباشر بوصول أي مواد قبل
التفريغ ومساعدة موظفي أطباء بلا حدود في نقل الأغراض الثقيلة عند الحاجة.
MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:
- Refill
and make sure there is always mineral water bottle available water
dispensers in guest house and office.
- Recheck
that the gas cylinder is always available in the office and guest
house
- Respect
and apply all rules described in the specific “Aden watchmen SOP”
- Under
supervision, check the quality of diesel fuel during fuel reception at the
MSF office
- Check
the water level in the water tanks

- إعادة تعبئة وضمان توفر زجاجات المياه
المعدنية في أجهزة التوزيع في البيت الضيافي والمكتب.
- التحقق المستمر من توفر أسطوانة الغاز في
المكتب والبيت الضيافي.
- الالتزام وتطبيق جميع القواعد الموضحة في
"إجراءات تشغيل الحراس – عدن".
- تحت الإشراف، فحص جودة الديزل عند استلام
الوقود في مكتب أطباء بلا حدود.
- فحص مستوى المياه في الخزانات
Job requirements
- Education:
Essential literacy
- Experience:
At least one-year previous working experience in similar role. Desirable
similar role in MSF or other NGOs
- Knowledge:
Basic command of written and spoken English
