We are seeking a qualified Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to
support the implementation of our project: “Emergency Response to Displacement
and Climate Change in Yemen – Al-Dhale’e Governorate.”
Job Purpose
The M&E Officer will be responsible for
planning, coordinating, and supervising all Monitoring, Evaluation,
Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) activities under the project. This includes
overseeing data collection and analysis, field monitoring, managing feedback
mechanisms, and producing accurate, timely reports to ensure quality
implementation and accountability to beneficiaries and donors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop
and implement M&E plans, tools, and data collection methodologies.
- Support
baseline, midline, and endline assessments, and real-time monitoring.
- Train
field teams on data collection protocols and quality assurance.
- Compile
and analyze data for internal and donor reports.
- Contribute
to learning, evaluation, and adaptive management processes.
- Maintain
databases and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate
with project teams and partners to ensure timely reporting.
- Support
accountability mechanisms including beneficiary feedback and complaint
systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s
degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a
related field.
- Minimum
of 4 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in
humanitarian education projects.
- Background
and experience in engineering or technical fields related to
infrastructure or school rehabilitation (considered a strong asset).
- Experience
in education sector programs is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated
experience managing field teams or volunteers for data collection.
- Proficiency
in M&E tools and software such as KoboCollect, SPSS, Excel, and
Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity
with donor reporting requirements and indicators.
- Strong
reporting and presentation skills, including visual data representation.
- Fluent
in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
