position:

Job Specialization:
Planning, implementing, and monitoring shelter and camp
management activities within humanitarian projects, ensuring compliance with
quality and safety standards and providing suitable and sustainable housing for
target groups, in coordination with relevant internal and external parties.
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Assessing
needs in field work sites and identifying appropriate interventions in
shelter and camp management.
- Preparing
designs and technical drawings according to approved engineering and
humanitarian standards.
- Preparing
bills of quantities and estimated costs and following up on purchasing and
supply operations.
- Field
supervision of shelter activities implementation and ensuring quality and
safety in execution.
- Coordinating
with local communities, authorities, and other relevant parties.
- Preparing
periodic technical reports on work progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Adhering
to beneficiary protection policies, gender, diversity, and environmental
policies.
- Ensuring
the inclusion of protection, privacy, and dignity principles in all
shelter activities.
- Supervising
the implementation of shelter activities in the field and ensuring their
conformity with the work plan and approved standards.
- Adhering
to the working hours specified by the project management.
- Respecting
work rules and ethics and adhering to the association's and UNHCR's code
of conduct.
- Performing
any other tasks assigned within the project framework.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience
1. University degree in Civil Engineering,
Architectural Engineering, or any related specialization.
2. At least 3 years of experience working in shelter and camp
management projects within the humanitarian context.
3. Good understanding of protection and shelter issues in
emergency contexts.
Skills and Abilities:
1. Team leadership and effective
communication skills.
2. Proficiency in using Office programs and engineering
drawing software (such as AutoCAD).
3. Ability to work in challenging field environments.
4. Ability to work under pressure.
5. Making the right decisions at the right time.
6. Analysis and prioritization.
7. Time management and task organization.
8. Teamwork spirit.
Other Requirements:
- Advanced
level in English language.
