Safe Road for Peace & Development (SRPD) is
a non-profit and non-governmental organization that was established in August.
2017 with a vision to provide work through innovative approaches in Yemen to
empower people, save lives, defeat poverty, and achieve social justice and life
with integrity, especially for those living in poverty and marginalized
communities, where they can utilize their potentials for sustainable
development.

Job title: Receptionist
Report to: Accountability Officer
Location: Sana’a
Contract Duration: Until December 31st, 2024, renewable based on
fund availability and performance
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome
refugees and asylum seekers into the reception office and assist with
their requests appropriately.
- Verify
data of refugees and asylum seekers in the information management (IM)
system and log additional required information.
- Address
inquiries and issues raised by refugees and asylum seekers in coordination
with the protection officer/assistants.
- Provide
comprehensive support to refugees and asylum seekers within the drop-in
center, ensuring their needs are met effectively and with empathy.
- Refer
individuals to relevant partners or service providers (e.g., legal,
medical, psychological) when necessary.
- Track
the outcomes of both internal and external referrals to ensure effective
case resolution.
- Facilitate
case closure for all individuals, aiming for a smooth process.
- Serve
as a feedback point for complaints and inquiries.
- Coordinate,
organize, and participate in awareness sessions.
- Provide
periodic reports to the direct supervisor, including an overview of
achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
- Maintain
a safe reception area, adhering to safety regulations.
- Perform
other duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- A BA
in Social Service or business administration or equivalent is required.
- 3
years of employment experience in a similar field is required also,1 year
of employment in an NGO and INGO is preferred.
- Excellent
in English and Arabic Languages.
- Attention
to detail; accuracy and a structured way of approaching tasks.
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel is required.
- Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent
people skills.
- Ability
to deal with heavy work pressure.
- Self-motivated,
results-driven, and excellent sense of organization.
