PRESENTATION OF THE ORGANIZATION
SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international
humanitarian NGO which, for more than 40 years, has been providing assistance
to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting
their vital needs for food, water and shelter. Particularly involved in the
fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the first cause of death in the
world, SI's interventions provide expertise in the field of access to drinking
water, sanitation and hygiene promotion, but also in the essential area of food
security and livelihoods. Present in around twenty countries, SI's teams - 2000
people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at
headquarters, and a few volunteers - work with professionalism and commitment
while respecting cultures.

harassment (SEAH) against members of beneficiary communities or collaborators,
fraud, corruption, violation of persons and/or property, funding of activities

DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
Goal/Purpose of the Position:
Goal / Purpose:
The advertised position will be working as FSL Daily Worker
in the targeted areas of Marib governorate (Marib city, and Marib Al Wadi). The
DWs will be basically conducting surveys, assessments, and data collection,
benificaries regiestratuon, data entry, and distribution faciliatation as
guided by their FSL Officer. The role is entirely field based, requiring a
full-time presence in the field..
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate
in coordinating with the community for conducting awareness, community
sensitization meetings/workshops to the project’s objectives, activities,
and selection criteria on the area level.
- Facilitate
the cash for food distribution activities ensuring standards and security
procedures are followed
- Facilitate
the registration/verification of beneficiaries on the field
- Using
the KOBO for Data entry
- Ensure
any problems in implementation are reported to the direct supervisor in a
timely manner.
- Respect
time within working hours, meeting deadlines, and other requests from the
direct supervisor or Project Officer.
- Any
other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Profile requirements:-
- The
candidates must be live currently in Marib city or Marib Al Wadi
- At
least completion of secondary school education
- One
year- technical experience in the sector of FSL projects
- Strong
ability to verbally communicate & deliver complex ideas to rural
populations (in Arabic).
- Ability
to diplomatically and sensitively resolve conflicts within and between
communities/stakeholders.
- Ability
and willingness to travel extensively to the field, under sometimes
difficult circumstances.
- Ability
to work with a team and individually.
- Flexible,
adaptable, able to improve and work in stressful and instable environment.
