ITB/CO/YEMSA/26/02
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for
Refugees - with its Sub Office Aden, Republic of Yemen - has an international
mandate to provide international protection and to seek solutions for the
problem of refugees in Yemen. In addition, The Office assumes the lead
responsibility for protection, emergency shelter and camp management for
internally displaced persons in Yemen. The work of the Office is of an entirely
non-political character.
The Office in Marib would like to procure Shelter Repair
Kits for UNHCR Aden, Yemen and invites qualified companies to provide a firm
offer for the supply of the following:

Procurement, Supply, Storage, and Delivery of up to One
Thousand (1,000) Shelter Repair Kits for UNHCR operations in Taiz, Al Hudaydah,
and Abyan, Yemen

Pre-Bid Meeting
UNHCR will hold a supplier pre-bid conference on:
Wednesday, 20 May 2026
From 12:00 noon to 02:00 p.m.
Interested bidders can attend through either of the
following methods:
- Physically
at the UNHCR Office in Aden, Yemen - Khor Maksar District
- Online
using Microsoft Teams Software and guidance on how to join the meeting
please refer to (Annex G)
Attendance at the Pre-bid meeting is highly recommended, as
the requirements and tender requirement will be explained further to ensure
full understanding by interested suppliers.
SUBMISSION OF BID
The offers must bear your official letter head, clearly
identifying your company.
Bids should be submitted by e-mail and all attachments must
be in PDF format only.
Copies of the *.pdf format documents may, as an addition, be
included in Excel or other formats such as:
*.doc, *.docx, *.xls, *.xlsx, *.rtf, *.png, *.jpg, *.jpeg,
*.txt, *.zip, *.ppt, *.pptx, *.bmp, *.rar, *.gif, *.tif, *.tiff
Executable files (*.exe, *.bat, *.cmd, etc.) shall not be
uploaded as such extensions are filtered and are rejected by the UNHCR email
server).
The Technical and Financial Offers submitted electronically
must be sent in separate emails.

It is your responsibility to verify that all e-mails have
been received properly before the deadline. Please be aware of the fact that
the e-mail policy employed by UNHCR limits the size of attachments to a maximum
of 10 Mb so it may be necessary to send more than one e-mail for the whole
submission.

UNHCR will not be responsible for locating or securing any
information that is not identified in the bid. Accordingly, to ensure that
sufficient information is available, the bidder shall furnish, as part of the
bid, any descriptive material such as extracts, descriptions, and other
necessary information it deems would enhance the comprehension of its offer.
Important Notice
Bids received after the deadline or sent to another address
will be rejected.
UNHCR is not bound to accept any application or give reasons
for rejection or acceptance.
