ABOUT RI:

organization that partners with communities impacted by conflict, climate
change and disaster to save lives, build greater resilience and promote
long-term health and wellbeing.

in 15 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, providing Health and
Nutrition, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Education and Livelihoods
programming that creates the foundation for community resilience.

inclusive local programming that is evidence based, conflict sensitive, climate
smart, and reaches those in need.
Relief International is an alliance of four organizations
with one shared mission, comprised of Relief International, Inc., Relief

which operate under a one-team concept under a single senior leadership team.
Job Profile
Under the supervision of the Health Information Management
Officer, the Health Information Management Assistant (HIMA) will dedicate 100%
of his/her time leading, coordinating and ensuring the high-quality
implementation of project activities. The HIMA’s primary role is to collect all
relevant data and support HIMO in drafting and submitting statistical reports.
Key responsibilities
- Work
closely with the Health Information Management Officer to assist in
ensuring compliance with RI information systems and implement data quality
control measures.
- Manage
data entry works/teams.
- Assist
on troubleshoot data submission errors and data error issues.
- Assist
on implementing data validity and quality control measures including
random phone calls and site visits.
- Regularly
collect, compile and save project data using easily searchable and
accessible media and readable formats.
- Implement
quality control activities.
- Communicate
regularly with Health Assistants and ensure the receiving of daily,
weekly, and monthly reports from the field.
- This
includes Health, Nutrition and Medication reports.
- Maintain
correct and up-to-date project data and relevant records in soft and
hard-copy files ensuring the security, integrity and confidentiality of
the data and records.
- Provide
technical assistance to field coordinators and supervisors regarding data
collection and reporting.
- Assist
on compiling and sending to the donor daily, weekly reports, Daily
medication reports, and Project Nutrition reports.
- Assist
on compiling weekly and monthly numeric achievements and ensure reporting
submitted on time and to high standards.
- Assist
and coordinate with M&E Officer in maintaining accurate and up-to-date
project information and data (IPTT).
- Perform
other relevant duties as assigned by the HIMO.

mechanisms.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s
degree in information or data management and processing field or its
equivalent.
- Minimum
1 years of previous technical experience in health and nutrition data
management for humanitarian or development projects.
- Applicable
knowledge working with statistic databases.
- Good
written English and ability to write good quality reports.
- Excellent
interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated,
results-driven and excellent sense of organization.
- Preferably
from the targeted area/district
