Resonate Yemen Foundation
Resonate Yemen Foundation is seeking to establish a
roster of qualified and experienced Project Managers to be considered for
future opportunities as they arise. This announcement does not relate to a
specific vacancy but serves to identify and pre-assess potential candidates for
upcoming project-based assignments. Qualified individuals who express interest
and meet the required criteria will be included in a roster and may be
contacted as relevant opportunities become available, depending on project needs,
timelines, and thematic focus.

not-for-profit civil society foundation contributing to inclusive and local
sustainable development through the provision of institutional development and
local community empowerment programs to diverse groups of development
stakeholders including Youth, CSOs and local Authorities. Resonate! believes in
community-based interventions as a main source of sustainable local
development.
General Position Summary
Project Managers at Resonate Yemen Foundation play a
critical role in leading the design, execution, and oversight of project
activities in line with the Foundation’s mission and operational standards. The
position requires a results-driven professional with strong leadership,
coordination, and communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams and
ensuring timely and effective delivery of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and
Implementation
- Develop
and oversee detailed project implementation plans, including procurement,
training, communication, and activity schedules.
- Ensure
that project activities are executed in accordance with approved work
plans, timelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate
field operations, ensuring logistical and operational readiness in collaboration
with project coordinators and local teams.
- Adapt
implementation approaches as needed in response to emerging challenges,
risks, or contextual shifts.
2. Financial and Administrative
Oversight
- Lead
the preparation and monitoring of project budgets in collaboration with
the Finance Unit, ensuring spending is aligned with approved allocations.
- Authorize
and track expenditures, ensuring compliance with both donor guidelines and
- Resonate’s
internal financial policies.
- Ensure
all project-related records are properly maintained, archived, and easily
accessible, both electronically and in hard copy.
3. Reporting and Documentation
- Draft
high-quality narrative and financial donor reports in a timely and
accurate manner.
- Review
internal reports prepared by local partners, officers, and field
coordinators and provide feedback to enhance quality and clarity.
- Document
key learnings, implementation challenges, and emerging opportunities
throughout the project cycle.
4. Monitoring, Evaluation, and
Learning
- Work
closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit to implement M&E
plans, track indicators, and collect relevant data.
- Facilitate
regular project reviews, reflection sessions, and after-action reviews to
assess performance and inform decision-making.
- Contribute
to the development of tools and methodologies to assess project impact and
effectiveness.
- Ensure
that beneficiary feedback is systematically collected and integrated into
project adaptation processes.
5. Team Leadership and Staff
Supervision
- Supervise
project team members and provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and
support.
- Conduct
regular check-ins and performance reviews with project staff, fostering a
culture of accountability and learning.
- Identify
capacity-building needs and coordinate relevant training and coaching for
team members.
- Ensure
a safe, inclusive, and productive working environment in line with
Resonate’s values.
6. Fundraising and Stakeholder
Engagement
- Identify
and pursue funding opportunities in coordination with the senior
management team, contributing to the development of concept notes,
proposals, and donor engagement strategies.
- Represent
the organization in fundraising meetings, donor briefings, and stakeholder
forums, articulating project achievements, needs, and alignment with donor
priorities.
- Engage
with relevant ministries, local authorities, and civil society actors to
foster collaboration, ensure local ownership, and position the
organization as a trusted implementing partner.
7. Communication and Visibility
- Liaise
with the organization’s Media and Communications Officer to ensure regular
- documentation
and dissemination of project activities.
- Provide
accurate and timely information to support visibility, outreach, and
knowledge- sharing efforts.
- Ensure
that all external communications reflect the values and voice of Resonate
Yemen Foundation.
8. Other
- Undertake
any additional tasks assigned by senior management in line with the role
and organizational needs.
- Remain
flexible and responsive to evolving responsibilities, recognizing that
this job description is not exhaustive.
Qualifications Requirements
- A
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, business administration, project
management, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is strongly
preferred.
- Minimum
of 5 years of professional experience in project or program management,
with at least 3 years within development or humanitarian sectors.
- Proven
experience in preparing and managing project budgets in compliance with
donor and organizational requirements.
- Fluency
in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- High
level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability
to work effectively under pressure, in fast-paced work culture.
