Job Description

HUMAN ACCESS announces the following vacant position:

  • Job: Community Volunteer
  • Number Required: 29 
  • Location: Al-Mocha / Hays / Al-Khawkha / Marib / Taiz / Al-Shamayatayn/ Lahj / Aden.
  • Contract Duration: Six Months
  • Last Date for Application: 12:00 PM on Wednesday, December 25, 2024

Job Specialization:

Providing the necessary support for cases of the entrepreneurship program to protect and empower girls

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Gather information from submitted cases and submit reports to program management.
  • Provide support and assistance to social workers in following up on individual cases.
  • Assisting in monitoring vulnerable cases in the field, conducting interviews with survivors and referring them to the responsible person in the program.
  • Verify and validate data collected from community networks against field observations.
  • Assist case managers in handling daily caseload.
  • Carry out tasks assigned by the program coordinator or deputy, both on-site and off-site, as required.
  • Comply with all administrative policies set by the program management.
  • Adhere to the working hours and shift schedule set by the program management.
  • Participate in team meetings and other meetings as scheduled by the program coordinator.
  • Participate in the implementation of any other activities within the framework of the program.
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by the program director or coordinator.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

1.    Diploma in Sociology or a related field
2.    At least one year of experience in the same field

Skills and Abilities:

1.    The art of dealing with others.
2.    Ability to withstand work pressure.
3.    Social skills (such as providing psychosocial support).
4.    Excellent communication and reporting skills
5.    High ability to make decisions and identify the needs of each case  
6.    High ability to direct and analyze logically
