Since then, it has implemented a number of development and emergency projects to improve lives conditions of children and communities where they live in Europe, Africa and Asia.

Job Objective:

To provide psychosocial support to affected individuals and contribute to improving their psychological and social well-being through individual and group counseling sessions, implementation of psychosocial activities, and ensuring proper case referral and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess psychosocial needs of target groups and provide individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Conduct awareness and educational activities on mental health and positive coping mechanisms.
  • Record and update case information in the designated database.
  • Coordinate with service providers to ensure proper referrals and follow-up.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of data and ensure secure filing of records and reports.
  • Collaborate with protection teams and local communities to identify and document psychosocial needs.
  • Participate in community capacity-building and coordination meetings.
  • Prepare accurate weekly and monthly activity reports, highlighting progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Support the evaluation of activities and contribute to improving service quality.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the management in line with the project’s objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in psychosocial support, humanitarian, or social work.
  • Good knowledge of protection principles and psychosocial support in emergency contexts.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in multicultural environments.
  • Commitment to humanitarian and professional values such as confidentiality, respect, and accountability.

Reporting Line:

Reports to: Project Manager / Protection Coordinator
