Job
Objective:
To
provide psychosocial support to affected individuals and contribute to
improving their psychological and social well-being through individual and
group counseling sessions, implementation of psychosocial activities, and
ensuring proper case referral and follow-up.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Assess psychosocial needs of target groups and provide individual
and group counseling sessions.
- Conduct awareness and educational activities on mental health and
positive coping mechanisms.
- Record and update case information in the designated database.
- Coordinate with service providers to ensure proper referrals and
follow-up.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of data and ensure secure filing of
records and reports.
- Collaborate with protection teams and local communities to identify
and document psychosocial needs.
- Participate in community capacity-building and coordination
meetings.
- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly activity reports, highlighting
progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Support the evaluation of activities and contribute to improving
service quality.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management in line with
the project’s objectives.
Qualifications
and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in psychosocial support,
humanitarian, or social work.
- Good knowledge of protection principles and psychosocial support in
emergency contexts.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in multicultural environments.
- Commitment to humanitarian and professional values such as
confidentiality, respect, and accountability.
