announces its need to fill the following vacant position:
Job Title: Protection and Education Project Manager
Number Required: One
Location: Aden Governorate / Taiz
Contract Duration: Sixteen months

Job Scope:
Comprehensive supervision of the planning, implementation, monitoring,
and evaluation of the Protection and Education Project activities, ensuring
their alignment with humanitarian response standards and donor requirements,
achieving a positive impact on the target groups and enhancing the quality of
field outputs.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Prepare a detailed project work plan and ensure
its implementation within the specified timeframe and budget.
- Oversee the implementation of protection
activities (including child protection, psychosocial support, case
management) and education activities (non-formal education, education in
emergencies, and educational capacity building).
- Coordinate with technical, financial, and
logistics departments to ensure integrated implementation.
- Prepare a procurement plan and detailed work plan
in coordination with supporting departments (Finance, Procurement, Human
Resources).
- Manage and direct field and technical project teams,
define tasks, and evaluate performance.
- Organize periodic team meetings and follow up on
operational challenges.
- Develop project monitoring and evaluation tools.
- Prepare periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, and
final) that include performance indicators, achievements, and challenges.
- Develop monitoring and evaluation tools and ensure
the inclusion of qualitative and quantitative performance indicators in
the project plan.
- Ensure documentation of activities and results in
accordance with donor requirements.
- Represent the organization in coordination
meetings with government agencies, partner organizations, and local
communities.
- Contribute to the preparation of periodic
narrative and financial reports in accordance with donor and General
Directorate of HUMAN ACCESS requirements.
- Build positive relationships and effective
coordination with local authorities, relevant ministry offices, and the
local community.
- Ensure adherence to the organization's internal
policies and international protection and education standards (e.g., INEE,
CPMS).
- Ensure adherence to HUMAN ACCESS policies and
quality and humanitarian standards, including INEE and CPMS standards, and
safeguarding and accountability standards.
- Adhere to HUMAN ACCESS policies and practices,
including the Code of Conduct and relevant administrative policies.
- Carry out any other project-related tasks assigned
by the project manager.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education,
Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
- Project Management Certification (PMD-Pro or PMP).
- At least 5 years of experience managing
multi-sector projects (education - protection).
- Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English.
Skills and Abilities
First: Skills and Abilities
- Highly skilled in managing multidisciplinary teams
and ensuring coordination between the various project components.
- Good knowledge of monitoring and evaluation
(M&E) mechanisms and results matrices.
- Knowledge of the basics of protection from sexual
exploitation and abuse (PSEA) and safe referral mechanisms, able to work
under pressure and in multicultural environments.
- Leadership skills in managing and directing field
teams, including planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in preparing and drafting technical
reports related to field activities and campaigns.
- A deep understanding of human relations and the
ability to positively interact with various segments of society.
- Familiarity with policies and procedures related
to coordination with official bodies and local communities, and the
ability to implement them effectively.
- Ability to work in challenging field environments
and move between target areas as required.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare documents and reports.
- Skilled in collecting, analyzing, and presenting
data in a clear manner that supports decision-making.
- Ability to prepare technical reports related to
project activities in accordance with institutional standards.
